Rick Corbett
  

Rick Corbett is a member of the 2007-2008 Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.

He is currently the Vice-President of Environmental Engineering for Associated Engineering. In that capacity, Rick directs the environmental engineering activities across the company and in particular, provides input into water and wastewater planning and concept development to clients in Canada and overseas. In his 28 years with Associated Engineering, his career has spanned both water and wastewater engineering, as a designer, project engineer, project manager and specialist. Prior to his current position, Rick worked with the waterfowl conservation organization,

Duck Unlimited, as a water resources engineer at a number of locations around British Columbia.

Rick has been a WEF member since 1979 and served on the Federation’s House of Delegates from 2003 to 2006 and on the Board of Trustees in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.  He has been an active member of the British Columbia Water & Waste Association (BCWWA), serving in a number of officer positions, including President. 

A member of BCWWA’s Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers, Rick received a B.A. Sc. in civil engineering and M.A.Sc. in environmental engineering from the University of British Columbia.
