Daniel A. Nolasco is a member of the 2007-2008 Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
He is currently President of the consulting group NOLASCO & Assoc. Inc. and Professor at the Environmental Engineering School of Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires. Daniel has contributed to the planning, design, optimization and modeling of wastewater treatment plants in North America and worldwide. A WEF member since 1989, Daniel currently represents AIDIS Argentina at the House of Delegates. Since 2003, he organizes the Operations Challenge in AIDIS Argentina. | He is active in WEF’s international committees.
Daniel has published over 60 articles and papers and has co-authored two WEF books. In addition, Daniel is member of the Management Committee of IWA’s Specialty Group on Climate Change.
A 1998 recipient of WEF’s prestigious WRc Travel Fellowship Award, Daniel received his Civil Engineering degree from the U. of Buenos Aires, his Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from McMaster U. in Canada, and his Master of Sciences in Management of Technology from MIT. He studied Large Scale Financing at Harvard Business School and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and Argentina.
